  • How to set up scheduled recording?

    To record channels, you need a USB drive (dongle or external hard drive, etc.) to store recordings.
    ???? What's the Maximum supported storage and recording time?
    • It depends on the capacity of the connected external drive and bitrate of the stream to be recorded.

    ???? HOW TO


    Please follow the steps below to schedule a recording through EPG screen.



    ????Applicable models: ✅ Mytvonline 1 Models
    1. Insert a correctly formatted USB into your Formuler
    2. Bring up the grid EPG list by pressing the EPG/Guide button on the remote
    3. or Press the INFO button on the remote and press the Right arrow to show up the single EPG list
    4. Navigate to a future program you want to record
    5. Press the 'RECORD button' on the remote
    6. Pressing one more 'RECORD button' to cancel the set-up
    7. Refer to the tutorial video: [Video Guide] Scheduled Recording _Mytvonline1
    • ???? Without EPG data, scheduled recording can't be set in Mytvonline 1.




    ????Applicable models: ✅ Mytvonline 2 Models
    1. Insert a correctly formatted USB info your Formuler
    2. Bring up the grid EPG list by pressing the EPG/Guide button on the remote
    3. or Press the INFO button on the remote and press the Right arrow to show up the single EPG list
    4. Navigate to a future program you want to record
    5. Press the 'RECORD or OK button' on the remote
    6. Refer to the tutorial video: [Video Guide] MYTVOnline2 - How to schedule recordings
    • ???? OK button will bring up a pop-up window where you can adjust start/end time, duration and frequency.
    • ???? You can also manage the schedules from 'Mytvonline2 > Menu > Schedule' menu.
    • ???? 'Extra recording time' (Mytvonline 2 > Menu > Settings > DVR Options) can add extra time at the beginning/end of schedule.


    ???? How to schedule a recording when "no information" is displayed in the EPG
    You can schedule a recording even if there is "No Information" displayed in the EPG by following the instructions below:
    1. Insert a correctly formatted USB into your Formuler
    2. Open MYTVOnline2 and open the EPG (Program Guide). Press the EPG button on the remote
    3. Move the cursor to the approximate desired recording time slot
    4. Press OK or REC on the remote
    5. A popup window will appear the will allow you to schedule the recording
    6. Modify the Start and End time as desired and press "Save"

    ???? Auto recording / Auto turn on and off
    • If you set up a recording, you do not have to leave your Formuler on.
    • The box will wake up from standby/sleep mode itself and record what is scheduled.
    • When completed, it will go back to the previous power state.
